BioI am currently entering my third year in a Ph.D. program in business at the University of Iowa. In the past, I've worked as an engineer and an analyst. I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M in 1998, and my MBA from A&M in 2004.
My basic purpose for this journal is to record my thoughts as I continue into the research portion of the program and to try to make sense of what is going on. In the past, I've found that writing tends to be a good tool for discerning my thoughts and beliefs, and I intend to use it as such again. At the same time, it provides a location where friends and family can see how I'm doing.
